Elira Mavraj is a native of Wappinger's Falls, NY, and is currently teaching middle school band and general music at Broadalbin-Peth Central School District. Her ultimate goal as an educator is to inspire students to see the potential they have in themselves while developing a long-lasting love and appreciation for music. Elira has been known to create positive and enriching learning environments for her students during her time as a music theory and aural skills tutor through the SUNY Potsdam Student Success Center, as a regular substitute teacher in many schools in St. Lawrence County, and as a private lesson teacher through the NY School of Music in Walden, NY.
